Volunteer Car Driver
Do you have what it takes to join our volunteer drivers?
We do need more volunteer drivers with their own car to help us meet the growing demand for our services. All our drivers are volunteers – wonderful volunteers – that have given up their own spare time, helping to help those that are vulnerable and often overlooked by other community services.
If you enjoy meeting people and can spare a few hours, a day or a few days, we would love to hear from you – you can drive as frequently or infrequently as you wish. You will find it rewarding, sociable and flexible around you. All you need is to offer a supporting arm with a little patience and in return you get the enjoyment and satisfaction of knowing you are doing something that is truly valued. (Download leaflet here)

Volunteer Bus Assistant
Don’t drive, but still want to volunteer your time? Have you considered becoming a bus assistant?
We offer shopper bus services around Salisbury and some of the local villages to registered users in our community. Many of these passengers are either elderly or infirm and keeping their needs in mind, we do at times require a second person to assist our bus drivers with their work. Assistants may be asked to help passengers on and off the bus, to assist with the loading of shopping and at times securing wheelchairs before a journey begins.
