The Amesbury Hoppa Community Bus has been supporting the residents of Amesbury since 2011. The HOPPA service has carried an average of 30k passengers per annum.
The Amesbury HOPPA bus service runs Monday to Saturday and covers two routes, one is RED the other is BLUE. Both services
start at the Tesco supermarket on London Road and incorporates Solstice Park and the town centre before returning to Tesco.
The RED route travels via Butterfield Drive while the BLUE route travels via Raleigh Crescent. Both service routes are highlighted on the bus. Intending passengers should note the current route displayed before boarding to ensure that their alighting point is served.
Conditions of travel are posted on the bus or obtained from CTSW.
Travel is free for Concessionary Bus Pass Holders after 9.30am.
For others travel is inexpensive, children up to 5 years travel free,
with older children up to age 16 years, travel as per fares shown. Payment can made with cash or via Contactless Card Payment.
The Amesbury Hoppa stops at regular bus stops, but subject to
road safety can be hailed by extending the arm in good time for
the driver to stop.
The bus is equipped with a ramp to assist wheelchair users with boarding and alighting, unfortunately the bus service is unable to carry more than one wheelchair user. At no point are any passengers allowed to stand whilst the bus is moving.

In trying to provide a service for as many people as possible,
the bus may arrive a few minutes after the advertised time at
intermediate locations on the timetable. At bus stops and other points, intending passengers should give clear hand signals in good time.
Away from bus stops, drivers will only stop on request where it is
safe to do so away from parked cars, road junctions, etc. When paying a fare, coins rather than notes would be welcomed. Ensure you leave nothing on the bus. Should passengers believe they left an item on the bus contact CTSW (01722 414566).
In the case of unavoidable disruption to services CTSW shall
not be liable for losses, damages, cost or inconvenience that
is suffered as a result. CTSW will make every effort to minimise any
disruption to the HOPPA service.
